Recognizing the critical need for immediate action to address Kosovo’s environmental crises, NGO Me Dhe Për Ambientin emerged as a beacon of advocacy, committed to safeguarding a sustainable environment for present and future generations.
Our mission extends beyond mere identification of environmental issues plaguing our nation. We are dedicated to meticulously planning, developing, executing, and monitoring projects aimed directly at mitigating these challenges. We firmly believe that alongside economic and social concerns, environmental issues demand urgent attention. Through the formulation of eco-conscious policies, we endeavor to preemptively address these challenges, thus averting the need for costly policy redesigns and ensuring effective implementation.
Studies, such as those conducted by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) in the United States, underscore the profound impact of environmental factors on human health, with nearly a quarter of global deaths attributed to them. Therefore, it is our ethical imperative to safeguard the environment, recognizing it as the linchpin of ecosystems and biodiversity upon which our existence hinges. It is incumbent upon us to not only rectify environmental degradation but also to sustainably manage and preserve our natural surroundings, confronting pollutants that imperil our water, land, and air quality with efficiency and resolve.
